Hakim Sabzevari University has successfully concluded the second phase of its Persian language course (Azfa) at the elementary level 1 for 270 Iraqi graduate students enrolled in the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The course, which commenced in December 2022, involved both in-person and online sessions, culminating in oral and written examinations.
During the course, students were introduced to the phonetic features, vocabulary, and simple sentence structures necessary for basic daily communication in Persian. They also gained foundational knowledge in reading, listening, and writing Persian.
The Director of the Persian Language Center for Non-Persian Speakers (Azfa) at Hakim Sabzevari University, speaking to the university’s public relations officer, stated that this introductory Persian language course was conducted over three weeks in-person and twelve weeks online, divided into six groups.
