Humanities are academic disciplines that study aspects of human society and culture. The humanities include the study of all languages and literatures, the arts, history, and philosophy. The Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Hakim Sabzevari University is the oldest faculty of HSU and was established at the same time with HSU in 1985.
The Faculty comprises 5 departments from literature (Persian, English and French), and social sciences to economics, political science and psychology. The Faculty of Literature and Humanities is the greatest community of HSU and supports a wide range of undergraduate majors, master’s and doctoral degrees, and honors programs.
The English Language Studies (ELS) curriculum is designed for non-native English speakers to foster effective communication in a variety of academic and professional contexts and facilitate their studies and their work beyond.
The French language course will teach students how to understand and speak basic French. It will also introduce them to the foundations of spoken French.The courses facilitate their studies and their work beyond.
Education sciences seek to describe, understand, and prescribe education policy and practice. Education sciences include many topics, such as pedagogy, curriculum, learning, and education policy, organization and leadership.
Political science is the scientific study of politics. It is a social science dealing with systems of governance and power, and the analysis of political activities, political thought, political behavior, and associated constitutions and laws.
Social science is one of the branches of science, devoted to the study of societies and the relationships among individuals within those societies. In fact, Social science is the study of how people interact with one another.
