FACULTY OF SCIENCES

Introduction

Faculty of Science molds the next generation of researchers, technicians, and academics by giving the undergraduate and graduate students an unparalleled education with equipped learning environments, hands-on lab and field experience, and internship opportunities. As its major aims the Faculty of Sciences attempts to improve the quality of educational and research environment of the faculty, employ expert and experienced faculty members, launch new areas of specialization in postgraduate programs, publish authoritative specialized journals, improve the scientific papers of the faculty members. Fields of study in the Faculty of Sciences are physics, chemistry, and biology. The research activities and scientific productions of the faculty members are of high standards and values in terms of quality and international reputation.

Departments

Biology

Biology is the scientific study of the life. It is a natural science with a broad scope. Biologists are able to study life at multiple levels of organization, from the molecular biology of a cell to the anatomy and physiology of plants and animals, and evolution of populations.

Chemistry

Fundamentally, chemistry is the study of matter and it s changes. It looks at matter and substances, their properties and how they interact with each other.

Physics

Physics is one of the oldest academic disciplines.Physics intersects with many interdisciplinary areas of research, such as biophysics and chemistry, and the boundaries of physics are not rigidly defined.
