According to the latest reports of the Basic Science Indicators (ESI) database, the number of the world’s top universities and research institutes in all subject areas is 8557, and 115 universities and research institutes from the Islamic Republic of Iran are also included in this list. Hakim Sabzevari University is in this list in the two subject areas of engineering and chemistry.
