DEPARTMENTS

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with the study, design, and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.

Mechatronics Engineering

Mechatronic Engineering is a combination of mechanical, electronic, computer and control engineering. It tries to have an integrated look at systems consisting of mechanical-electronic-control and software components.

Computer Engineering

The goal of computer engineering is to represent, process, transmit and use the information that has influenced many different sciences including engineering sciences, medical sciences and humanities. Today, it is impossible to find a subject that has not been affected by this discipline.

Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology to advance health care treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy.

EDUCATIONAL lABORATORIES

Electronic Laboratory

Learning the subject of electronic circuits is one of the important practical courses for engineering students. In this laboratory, there are 10 workbenches equipped with all the necessary devices for testing and implementing electronic circuits, which can be used by two persons in each workbench. The equipment includes a two-channel oscilloscope 20 MHz – function generator – analog and digital multimeter – digital and analog power supply – and all electronic elements.

Laboratory of Microprocessor and Linear Control Systems

The linear control laboratory is one of the laboratories of the electrical engineering department. In this laboratory, there are effectively seven desks, where 14 students can perform experiments at the same time. The control panel alone provides about 5 independent tests. That these tests are not available in Desger’s control sets. In addition to the existing panel, there are 8 complete control laboratory sets that cover the entire linear control laboratory. And 16 students can use these desks at the same time.

Digital oscilloscope with high memory capacity in the control laboratory is one of the other facilities available in this workshop and students are able to implement the systems they need and save the results in the oscilloscope itself. The physical space of this laboratory is about 110 m2, which according to the arrangement of the desks, enough space is provided to the users to conduct experiments.

Industrial Automation, PLC and Instrumentation Laboratory

This laboratory is able to provide an industrial control laboratory in the field of mechatronic engineering. There are a set of Siemens PLC (PLC S7300-400) and PLC LOGO and 4 PLC work tables in this workshop.

The PLC workshop is one of the few workshops that exist in universities. PLC practical training is one of the main courses for electrical and mechatronics engineering graduates. The systems in this workshop have S7 and LOGO simulators that enables the student to implement and observe the result by simulating the control circuit control process by PLC in an industrial workshop.
