FACULTY OF SPORT SCIENCES

Introduction

The Faculty of Sport Sciences was founded in 1998 by welcoming the first group of students who were trained as physical education teachers. Further, by recruiting faculty members in different disciplines, the necessary equipment and educational facilities were quickly provided, such as multi-purpose sports halls for wrestling and table tennis, swimming pool, grass field, and gymnasium. In 2005, the faculty offered the first programs at the master level and in 2011 at the doctoral level.

Currently, the faculty provides more than 40 physical education courses for about 1000 students of other fields in each semester.
